There are a few types of backflow prevention devices. The most common one is the RPZ (Reduced Pressure Zone) valve ,DCVA (double check valve assembly), and the PVB (Pressure Vacuum Breaker). These devices need to be tested and certified every year.  If the device fails the test we will give you a price up front to repair it and retest the device.
